Hungry Lion is currently recruiting nationwide for the following positions:

• General Workers

• Cleaners

• Cashiers

These roles are available in both full-time and temporary positions, depending on the operational needs of each store. Working hours are flexible and may include shifts on weekends and public holidays.

1. General Workers

General Workers form the backbone of the Hungry Lion operation. They ensure smooth store functioning, assist customers, and maintain high service standards throughout the day.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating.

• Support the service counter team during busy shifts.

• Maintain cleanliness across workstations and storage areas.

• Unpack, sort, and rotate stock efficiently.

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10 or higher education level.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.

2. Cleaners

Cleaners play a crucial role in upholding Hungry Lion’s commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. Your work ensures that customers always enjoy their meals in a spotless and welcoming environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Clean restaurant floors, counters, restrooms, and dining areas regularly.

• Dispose of waste responsibly and assist with recycling when applicable.

• Sanitize high-contact surfaces throughout the day.

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist with backroom tidiness.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10 qualification or equivalent.

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, but not mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

3. Cashiers

As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers — the smiling face that represents the Hungry Lion brand. This role requires efficiency, accuracy, and excellent customer service skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate cash registers and handle cash, card, and digital payments.

• Take and process customer orders promptly.

• Assist with upselling and promoting special deals.

• Address customer inquiries or complaints politely and efficiently.

• Keep the service area neat and well-organized.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent education.

• Basic mathematical and communication skills.

• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours
