Programme Overview

The Hyundai Sales Academy is a strategic initiative developed to build a talent pipeline of future high-performing sales executives. This fixed-term learnership is designed to combine on-the-job training with focused coaching, mentorship, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

During the Sales Trainee Learnership Programme, candidates will be trained and exposed to:

• Conducting effective customer needs analysis and matching clients with suitable Hyundai vehicles

• Learning and applying core sales techniques and dealership procedures

• Handling inbound and outbound customer communications

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with prospective and existing customers

• Participating in promotional events and dealership campaigns

• Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge, sales trends, and industry best practices

• Managing leads and tracking performance using digital systems

• Supporting the dealership in achieving its sales targets and customer service goals

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A completed Grade 12 / Matric certificate (essential)

• A valid Driver’s License (Code B or higher)

• South African citizenship with residency in Gauteng

• Willingness to work retail hours and weekends when required

• Commitment to completing the full duration of the learnership programme

Preferred (Advantageous but not required):

• Tertiary qualification: Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field

• Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service
